Happy Friday! I hope that everyone survived the week. Here in Texas we are getting ready for winter. I know everyone is hoping for “snow” day on Tuesday but I really hope not! Don’t gt me wrong I don’t mind staying home, making some soup and reading all day but I really hate the way people get about the ice! Ok this is just a very quick update because yesterday not just one but three crazy things happened to me!

Ok so reason for the post! So yesterday I am minding my own business educating the minds of the future when I get a message that says “Yo wassup” I didn’t have the number saved I said Hi and asked who it was because I didn’t have the number saved. He tells me that he Nigel. He asks how life is treating me and if I want to connect over coffee or lunch. I asked him where I know him from? When were we talking in the past? Why we stopped talking? you know the usual questions. He sends me a picture and asks if I am dating someone. I tell him that I am still super confused and he asked what I was confused about. I said “who you are!?!” He tells me his name is Nigel. I told him “Telling me your name again doesn’t answer any questions… When were we talking? Where did we meet? Why did we stop talking?” He asked me why I am asking al these questions. I told him I am super sketched out and I am going to decline his invitiation. He says “Sarah?!?! Why are you acting like this? are you all right?” I said boom there it is… I am not Sarah, she seems to have given you the wrong number. I tell him good luck and we move on. I block him number because now he wants to be like BFF’s and I go about my day.

Then at 10 pm I get a message from another unknown number that said “hey! We met at the book store care to meet for coffee?” I was like “we did!?!” He says that we met last week in Denton Square. I told him nope I haven’t been to Denton in like a year and a half. She gave you the wrong number! Are you also looking for Sarah? He says no who is Sarah?” I was like “oh never mind! Either way wrong number. Sorry!” Poor guy was super excited to talk to this chick he met at the book store about the book she recommended him! He also sent me a picture and if it was some girl in denton just giving out phone numbers she sure does have a type!

Then when I dealing with all of that I get a message from a guy I knew from my childhood on facebook. We have connected a couple times on facebook. You know the how are you? Hows the wife and kids? What are you doing with your life these days? (he is the one with a wife and kids in case you missed that! haha) So yesterday he messages me and asks how life is going. You know, small talk! He then tells me he is out of town for work and they went to an NBA game last night. I was like cool, they are a lot fun. he then asks if he can ask me a question. I say sure what’s up. He then asks me “Did you ever fantasize about me?” first of all we knew each other in elementary school, we were children! But also this man has a wife and kids! I told him “You are married we are not having this conversation I am going to bed good night!” *commercial… you know Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory at the end when Wonka is telling Charlie he didn’t win after all he says “good day sir” and they keep trying to talk to him and he says “I said good day!” I have decided that is a good way to end conversations I no longer want to be a part of! haha* So I Willy Wonkad him! I don’t understand people. Guys stop being sleazy!

So a couple things could have happened, either some random girl is giving out my number instead of hers or these scammers are changing their tactics and pretending that we met before they ask for money. Don’t worry I blocked both of their numbers.

So there I was just trying to finish my book, which I did, and I am dealing with this! It was a very strange day. Let’s see what today holds! I hope that all of you stay warm in the winter we will experience in the next 4 days!
