Happy anniversary

Hello! I hope everyone had a restful weekend! I swear 4 day work weeks are more of a pain then they are worth! A quick story I have a scientist that anytime he doesn’t like what I have to say he responds with “my mom said”… I swear it’s like having the waterboy in class. Today I responded with well your mom doesn’t give you grades for this class and I’m telling you to do it this way! Some kids are struggling more than others to adjust back to “normal” school. They will get back in to the swing of things. I just keep having to remind myself they haven’t been “in school” in a year and a half!

So the reason for the blog tonight is because today is my parents anniversary. They have been married for 36 years. I tell them all the time that they are the reason that I’m still single! Haha

After 36 years my parents are still grossly in love! My parents have always been an example of a strong Christian relationship. My parents are both so weird together I swear they need to do a YouTube channel or a podcast or something where they just talk! Haha I promise if you heard some of the conversations I have heard you would be rolling! There was the whole discussion about what side of the bed you sleep on in a hotel and if your feet are at the other end of the bed do you stay on that side because the bed didn’t move or do you switch sides? Trust, it was hilarious!

They have always been an example to look up to, they have always supported each other in their hopes and dreams. They are there to encourage when needed but to be the voice of reason when needed. They laugh at everything! They communicate and after 36 years they still enjoy spending time together! Haha

There was a tiktok trend where people would talk about what they wanted in a relationship and if that wasn’t what they had they didn’t want it. That’s me! If me and my future husband can’t discuss hilariously what side of the bed to sleep on in the dark of a Las Vegas hotel room at 2 in the morning I don’t want it!

Happy anniversary mom and dad! And might I suggest y’all just randomly recording y’all’s conversations and we see where it goes? Haha love you both! (I style this picture from Facebook! Buhahaha)
