Good evening everyone! I hope that everyone enjoyed their Thursday! I am doing pretty well! The last couple of days I have enjoyed the fact that Texas weather has been a little bipolar. I have been sitting in the backyard having my coffee in the mornings. 

So y’all know about my current geocaching obsession but another small obsession I have is playing games. I like playing cards, board games, dice games, word games, really all of the games! I carry around different games in my car so that no matter where I am, I am ready! Some of my favorite games that you need to check out if you aren’t already playing are 5 crowns, Tenzi, bananagrams and sequence. 5 crowns is a card game that you play with a special deck of cards. You are trying to make runs or groups of numbers. Each hand you add a card you have in your hand. The Steinles taught me how to play and I have since spread the wealth to many of my friends! Tenzi is a dice game I found at Barnes and Noble where you just roll dice. Each person has 10 dice. There are different ways to win, like you are trying to get all 10 dice on the same number. It is a face paced non thinking game. Bananagrams is a set of tiles that comes in a banana. You are building a scrabble like board on your own and you are racing against your opponents. Lastly sequence, the Torres family introduced me to this game. It is a board game meets cards meets connect 4. You have cards in your hand and when you play a card you put a marker on the card you played on the game board and you are trying to make a row. 

Yesterday I was headed to play games with Kim, Taylor and Tiffany and I thought I wanted to play sequence with them. The only problem is I had left it at Carlee’s house last time I went to play games over there. I stopped at carlees to pick up my game and I was greeted by the site of this beehive taking over the beam outside her house. Every summer when I go over to Carlees she tells me about the bees and I guess I had just never looked up. This is the first time I had seen them! Carlee has tried for years to get rid of them. They have tried to have them removed because we all know that there are so many bees and we should not be killing them because we need them! However, she has kids,and those kids have friends. The bees sometimes work their way into the house. It is a problem but they can’t find someone that can deal with them. Someone did last summer but as you see, they are back! So if anyone knows any way for them to get rid of these bees safely let me know and I will pass the information along! 

I bought some new games yesterday so we didn’t even play sequence. We tried them out last night but I am excited to play them more! If you have any games that I need to try or you wanna try your hand at bananagrams or 5 crown let me know! I hope that everyone has a great evening!
