God’s Handy Work

Good evening! I hope that everyone is doing well! I am… I am on summer vacation! I am so ready for this summer. This school year was a beast. I taught 2 subjects, and even though I LOVED it, it was super exhausting and challenging! Since I was so busy trying to do the best I could in the classroom somethings that I normally enjoy got thrown kinda on the waste side. (Did I use that expressions correctly?) one of the things that I normally love to do that I haven’t done much of this year is take pictures. If you don’t know, I absolutely love to take pictures, mostly of nature! I usually carry my camera everywhere!  To me it is just absolutely amazing what God can and does do! All the colors and designs… it is fascinating, and I like taking pictures of it! So, one of the things that I want to do this summer is take pictures. LOTS OF PICTURES. I started this a couple weeks ago. I was out at the lake and I got this really cool picture of a spider web.IMG_0584

So another thing you might know about me is I play this game every summer. It is from the same developer as Pokémon go and very similar kinda. It actually was around before Pokémon Go. It is called ingress. It is super nerdy and I am aware of just how nerdy it is when I start talking to people about it! Haha but I enjoy it and I play it during the summer because I have time to stop on my drive just about anywhere. Ok, long story to get to I was driving the back way home so that I could hack a portal and connect some portals in hope to take over some land (I told you nerdy!) and I came across a tree that was pretty cool. I circled the block to take some pictures. Does anyone know what kind of tree this is? I asked some guy that was nearby, and he looked at me like I was crazy! Haha

I love taking pictures of nature because it is so easy to see God’s hand in it. Sometimes we need to see God’s hand more than other times.  I have a friend whose daughter was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor. This friend is amazing, her faith in God is the stuff of Bible stories. I have spent a few days in the last week with them trying to help in any way I can. It is so amazing to be around this family, because even though they are struggling to understand this very complicated diagnosis they have such faith that God is in control. Please pray for my friend and her family.
