The Chronicles Of Nay

Hellllllo people! I hope that everyone is doing well! Things are going well for me! Life is good! Coming down to the busy time of the year! It started a couple weeks ago. I went to Atlanta for a national science teacher conference! Gearing up for a girl’s math and science day, A boys math and science day, volleyball starts this week, and pool is still going strong!

Atlanta was basically pretty awesome!  Haha While I was there I got a lot of information a lot of things to think about in my classroom and thoughts for planning for lessons in my classroom! It was all a little overwhelming at times. There were so many teachers there! I mean do you ever stop to think of how many teachers there are in the nation? Think about it! It is a lot of teachers! There were so many people doing amazing things in their class, in their schools, in their cities. It was very inspirational! While I was there I also got to see some of Atlanta! I saw the Georgia world aquarium, coca cola world, ESPN center, where the Falcons play and a few local restaurants. All in all… it was a pretty awesome trip!

This Saturday we are taking a group of girls to a math and science day that one of the local colleges holds. It is all designed to show the girls all for the careers in math and science. I love it! They have activities for the kids they feed them and stuff… it is all a great time! Since we take a group of girls we are planning a boy’s day as well. I have a couple activates planned that I know that they will love! There isn’t really a day set up for the boys so we do it on our campus. There is a lot to do but I am so ready!

Volleyball starts on Friday! I am so excited! We have a new team name, shirts and a couple new teammates! I am so excited! Our team name is the Volley Lamas! Our shirts are AWESOME!! I look forward to Friday evenings! Our team is like a little family. We laugh and laugh and laugh! I have been playing out there for like 7 years! I have made some pretty amazing friends! Sometimes when I think about how awesome God is it blows my mind! I mean think about it… there are so many pieces that had to fall in place for me to have met the awesome people that I meet at volleyball! I mean some of these people I would have never crossed paths with otherwise! It is all just so amazing!

Pool is going pretty well. I joined a doubles team as well. I am getting slightly better. I still miss stupid shots that I shouldn’t but I am missing less of them! Haha my team is pretty supportive though. They are helpful and frustrating all at once! Haha the frustration comes in when I can’t just do what they want me to do! The big thing though is that I am having fun!

Well its almost 10 pm on a Sunday. Which means that I should probably start getting ready for the bedtime routine. I hope that everyone has a great week!
