The Chronicles Of Nay

Good afternoon! I hope that everyone is doing well! So I finally finished that pesky paper I have been working on for weeks! haha It is due today but my goal was to get to work super early yesterday and lock myself in my classroom and work on it for an hour uninterrupted! Well I got there a little later than I intended to yesterday. I was also slightly interrupted by starting to write this blog because OMG I had a crazy morning all before 7! Well actually it wasn’t my crazy morning, It was more I witnessed a crazy morning, and anyone that knows me knows that I am nosey! So I watched for a little while. Ok, hold on, let me calm down! Let me back up!

I was headed in to work early so I stopped for a coffee. I went to the Starbucks on 1187 and 731. It is the one in the Crowley by the Walgreens. Below are a couple pictures of what that parking lot looks like. the first picture shows Starbucks on the left and the bank on the right. Then the pictures go from standing there to standing more behind the car on the bottom right of the first picture. As you will notice there is a small retaining wall between the parking lots that sort of makes them tiered in height. Ok I numbered the third picture to help explain what happened. At least so that I could explain as clearly as I understand what is going on!

I was parked where car 2 is parked and there was a truck parked where the lines in front of car 3 are. We walked out with our drinks around the same time and both happen to be sitting in our cars you know getting our lifes together. I mean that is what I was doing I can only assume he was too! There was a car that came around the corner when I was walking out of Starbucks and they let me pass from the door to the parking lot. She parked about where car number3 is parked. Then this is when things get CRAZY! I heard a revving engine, and a smash! I looked up in time to see her smash into the truck! I glance over to see the truck rocking back and forth and the lady is hung up on the retaining wall. Like her back tires are on the wall. Then she throws it in toe drive slams on the gas and rips her back bumper off as she flies forward. I know I sitting there with my mouth agape! This is the truckon the right you can see her tail lights between the 2 trucks.

I don’t know what the heck was going on here! I don’t know what caused her to go over the parking curb and the retaining wall curb. the truck had a dent like if he got in an accident but it was like over the wheel well! She got out and they were talking so it didn’t seem like it was a medical emergency. I have so many questions.

• What the heck?
• What even happened?
• What was she trying to do?
• is everyone involved ok (she had a kid with her)
• what was she trying to do?
• would you have left your back end on the wall or would oyu have aggressively driven off?
• How many times has something like this happened?
• What did that kid tell his classmates at school!?!
• If you are the guy in the truck, what do you tell your insurance?
  • A lady flew in to my truck
• Did the lady still end up getting her coffee?

I mean I hope that both of their days got better. I mean how does it get worse from there. I don’t know but what I do know is for the foreseeable future when people ask how my day is going I am going to compare it to “Evil Knievaling off a retaining wall!” Like if I am having a bad day “my day could be worse. I could have Evil Knievaled off a retaining wall this morning before I got my coffee!”

I wish I had more information about what happened. That is all I have for yall! It was a crazy way to start the day and it has left me with so many questions! The question I know you all have, yes, I finished my paper! haha I am going to go take a nap! I hope that everyone has a great rest of your week!
