Happy Tuesday! I hope that everyone is having a good week! It has been a long time so you know what time it is… online dating stories! I have been on a couple dates, I have been stood up but right now there isn’t a lot going on in the dating world. I mean my time is valuable so it has to be worth my time!
If you are new here, I ask all matches to give me a middle school appropriate joke. The answers I get range from ignoring the question entirely to giving me a not middle school appropriate joke and everything in between. These are the guys that either blow right past the question, refuse to google a joke or just start a different conversation! Or they act like my question is such a burden!
Also I am very confused why guys think it is ok to bring in their teacher fantasies in to a conversation with a stranger. Like Pablo telling me that if he were in my class he would ask me to be his girlfriend. I mean I think I could look at it as like you think you are complementing me… but it is gross to think about because if you were in my class, you would be 12, and I want nothing to do with that!
Then there was Storm that told me a “joke” essentially about swallowing semen then asked how I would “punish him” if he told that in my class. Again, talking to me like if he was in my class, What is the appeal!? But if you must know, if he was a student in my class telling that joke, I would have had him calls his mom and tell her the joke. Then he could explain to her why it was funny.
I am not sure they understand what middle school appropriate means! Actually after he followed up with “I am such an ass for that” I realize that it is not that they don’t understand they just prefer to do what they want!
So not only did Jordon not understand a school appropriate joke he then doubled down and asked to see my boobs!
Apparently, I matched with Aiden before and he didn’t have a joke last time either!
Again with the teacher fantasy thing!
So this guy… The picture on the left where is standing in front of the stairs is the picture that was on his profile. We were only talking for a couple hours when he told me, the picture on my profile is an old one and then he sent me the second picture. This cannot be the same guy! Don’t worry there were a few more red flags that came up like he was living in his parents basement because he couldn’t find a job.
Ok these next few pictures are screen grabs of profiles. The first two are the same guy, I am just intrigued if these guys would be as bold in real life. Like do you go up to someone at the bar and say “My nights are open so you can be pregnant by the end of it.”? The guy that says his age is WAY off… I wonder how old that is because it said he was 40 at that time… and the age on the profile says 43… So how old is he!? And Rami, Oh man… Isn’t that the dream to marry rich!?!? haha Shaun, I understand what you are saying, however, I also need a man that can have a conversation about normal things too!
There are a few reasons that I ask this question. 1) I am a pretty funny person and I don’t know if I can handle a guy that can’t cut a joke. 2) I understand not everyone has a joke in their back pocket. I mean I do but I get not everyone does but is he willing to take a moment to google a joke? 3) at the very least I don’t need you to send me an inappropriate joke that you would send your buddies! And lastly 4) I want someone that is going to put in some effort, at least pretend he can listen! I know I have said it multiple times but the words of my grandma are always on my mind! Mejor sola que mal acompañada (better alone than in bad company!)
