The Chronicles Of Nay

Hello! Happy Friday! I hope that everyone is doing well! I am doing pretty well! sitting outside writing this blog! haha getting in a little sunshine! I had no intentions of leaving the house today but I was sitting outside drinking my coffee and reading and reached up to scratch my nose and my nose ring was missing! This actually happens more than you would ever know! I lose it in my sleep sometimes. I have no idea when or where. At 5:30 Gabbana wanted out so I moved to the couch so who knows when I will find it and where. Well all that to say, that was my last one! I had to venture out in to the world to get some new ones. Well It is so long between when I buy them that I can never remember what size I need. I asked the kid and he said that usually nose piercings are a 22 but if i cant remember to shoot for a 20 or even an 18. In case you are not aware of what those numbers mean the smaller the number the thicker the jewelry is. I went with the 22 but they had some really cute ones! Well, I should have gone with a 20. I think I just gaged my nose piercing. It is going to be sore for a few days! haha

Anyway that was not the reason for this blog! So I got back in to reading last year. I mean I have always liked to read but like I mentioned in the last blog I joined a book club and they have really re-sparked my love for reading. I have no problem talking to anyone about any book that you want to talk about! There were books that I loved, there were books that I tolerated and there was 1 book that I HATED! In that books defense I would have DNF’d that book if it had not been a book club book! This is for sure the most books I have read in a long time! I have a few rules that I wan’t to implement for my reading in 2024. This year I read 74 books. My goal for next year is 75. I tend to DNF books that I just can’t get in to. I know that this is ok because there are no rules. However, I really should finish more of those books at rate them 1 star. I don’t know we shall see how that works! haha In case you didn’t notice I tend to go to the dystopian, scifi kinda dark books so if you have any suggestions please let me know. This year I discovered Joe Hill and have really enjoyed him. My goal this year is to read more than 2 non-fiction books!
