Happy Monday! I hope that everyone had a great weekend! This may sound silly but I think I have finally gotten in to a routine! haha It only took like 7 weeks to figure it out! haha Man these kids this year are super needy. I don’t know what is going on at the elementary school but dang! I went to Denton to a regional mini conference. It was INTENSE! haha I had never been to this conference before. I heard about some research that I want to look in to about lab schools. I got so excited! haha I also learned that when we learn in school that birds fly south for the winter, it doesn’t necessarily mean Mexico! haha We heard from an expert on birds and he was talking about Texas being where these birds winter and 🤯!! Over all it was time well spent!

So most of you didn’t get the story. For a few weeks I was having to make enough meals for Monday lunch and dinner, Tuesday lunch and dinner and Wednesday lunch and dinner on Sunday night. So a few weekends ago I made soup. Well without thinking about how many days It had been in the fridge I took it to school for lunch on Friday (5 days after cooking). I started asking my people if they thought it was still good to eat. I am usually a 4 days max kinda person but I tend to lean more toward 3 days. There was such a wide range of response with just the people I eat lunch with! So you know what I had to do! I had to do a survey! Here are the results.

So most people will eat leftovers from the fridge 4 days after they make it. 3 days coming in as a close second. I was amazed that one person said 10 days, one person also said 6 but 8.1% said 7. that seemed like quite a jump so 5 days cool, not 6 days but 7 days cool! It just interesting. We had a conversation about it before class started a couple Wednesdays ago and people seem to be of the thought that spaghetti will last for more days than just about anything else! So if you didn’t do the survey, how many days will you eat leftovers after you cook it?

I had been working on this blog for a couple weeks now and I just hadn’t found the time to write it! Someone asked me the other day why I asked and when they would get to see the results. I was like oo yeah I should write that blog! So, here on the Monday before my paper is due, I thought I would write this blog! haha I hope everyone has a good week! I have another blog or 2 in the works so hopefully sooner before the next one comes out! haha
