There are some new readers here. There are some readers that have been here for a while. There are some readers that have known me for years, or don’t know me at all. Either way here is a list of 100 things about me!

1. I am a gemini
2. I have 11 piercings and no tattoos
3. I have a younger brother
4. I am only 5’6
5. Considering I am not that tall I have very large feet. I wear an 11
6. My favorite color is purple, or lime green, or teal
7. I grew up in north western New Mexico
8. I speak English, Spanish and I am learning ASL
9. My favorite season is baseball season (or spring)
10. I played softball for a good chunk of my childhood
11. I played tennis in high school
12. I also played volleyball for a few years in middle and high school
13. I played basketball for a little bit till I realized I sucked!
14. I did a study abroad in college in Spain
15. I have lived in Texas for 15 years
16. I bought a house when I moved to Texas
17. Most of my house was painted using oops paints
18. I keep my “Christmas” tree up all year and I change it to match the season
19. I have driven 5 cars in my life
20. Three of those cars were Hondas
21. I can drive a stick shift (Actually I miss it sometimes!)
22. I collect tea pots and kettles, I took over my grandmas collection when she passed
23. I don’t officially collect coffee mugs but I have way more than any single person should!
24. I drink a lot of coffee a day
25. I like hot tea also
26. I do not like green tea
27. I am allergic to tree nuts
28. Sometimes avocados make my mouth itch

30. I get very passionate about the fact that coconut shouldn’t be blue!
31. I love to bake, I don’t do it often but I enjoy it

34. I will never turn down chocolate with peanut better in candy form

38. I love orange juice, Cranberry juice is a close second
39. I do not like apple or grape juice
40. I worked at a bakery for a little bit in college
41. I worked at footlocker in high school

43. I wanted to be a teacher since I was in elementary school
44. I have a bachelors degree in Elementary Education
45. I taught math for my first 3 years and also a couple random years I split my day with math and science

48. I went to SeaWorld in 4th grade and I wanted to be dolphin trainer
49. When I marry rich (hahahaha) really… I would like to open a coffee shop
50. I will graduate in May with a masters in Science Ed.

53. Jeepers Creepers was the movie that got me in to horror movies.
54. After that my mom gave us a horror movie education by showing us some old school horror movies

59. I saw a video once about bullet journaling and it changed my life
60. It has taken me many years to perfect my bullet journal set up
61. I found out that 1000 books constitutes a library and that is now one of my life goals

68. A zombie book gave me nightmares last summer I had to stop reading it!

70. I like patterns and because of this eat my M&M’s very strange
71. I used to play in a sand volleyball league

73. I have bowled in a tournament in Las Vegas

76. During Covid I got really in to geocaching

81. I was nominated by my peers 5 years in a row for teacher of the year
82. I was chosen as teacher of the year
83. 2 years later I was selected as the district teaching chair of excellence in secondary science
84. My favorite word in Spanish is “igualmente” it means likewise… it is just fun to say!
85. I never realized how smart I was growing up.

91. I have been to a country, alternative, rock and christian concerts.

94. I am not very good with surprises
95. It took many years to realize that just because I call someone a friend doesn’t mean they feel the same way
96. I take “friendship” very seriously
97. I am getting better at setting boundaries
98. The older I get the more I realize how much I am like my dad
99. The older I get the more I am aware the sacrifices my parents must have made when we were kids
100. I didn’t think I had 100 interesting things about me!
