The Chronicles Of Nay

I know that this is a few days late from the start of the new year.I have been hanging out and enjoying my time off. I have been working on some projects in my house. I got a new bed and made a reading space in my bedroom. I am really liking this new set up. I also built (with the help of some pretty awesome friends) my office bookshelf.

I saw a pretty cool idea on TikTok about making a bingo board. There are some things that I added to my board that I know are going to happen like for instance I should be graduating with my masters in May. There were a couple goals I met last year that I am upping the count for this year. Last year I wanted to read 20 books and write 30 blogs. I read 23 books and wrote exactly 30 blogs. So this year the goal is to read 30 books, and to write 35 blogs. There are a couple things that I added to my board that I didn’t do last year. I had planned on watching 12 sunsets and I did not. I also was hoping to find 50 Geocaches and I did not make that number either. So both of those are on my list for this year. Then I have some completely new ones. For instance I am going to try to read all the way through the Bible this year.

This year I haven taken a lot longer to get my word of the year. I don’t know why it took so long but don’t worry I got a good one! I usually make my friends pick a word too! haha I don’t know what your process is but I start out with a list of like 15 words. Then I read through them and cross out any that just don’t feel right. Then I group the ones together that are similar or opposites. Then I put my list away and come back to it hours or days later and do the process again. So the word I decided on for this year is Intentional. I think I spell this dang word wrong almost every time I write it out! haha but anyway, intentional…. with my free time, with my structured time, my words, with who I surround myself with. Just being intentional with life! haha I made a little logo like I do every year! haha
