Happy Friday! So I have adopted this new Thursday evening thing where I have dinner at the Titus house. It is always hectic, lots of laughs, yummy food and over all a good time! It was national Waffle day so Jeff made us waffles! Between you and me I think he needs a new waffle iron because his waffles kept sticking… but they were yummy none the less! I hope that everyone had a good week!I hope that everyone is settling back into their routines. I know that even you people that don’t have school age children have to deal with different traffic once school starts. I know that I am falling in to my routine a little better.
Speaking of routine. I polled some people about their wake up habits. And some people surprised me, others, not so much! I asked “How many alarms do you set to wake up in the morning”. So I polled 31 people. Two people told me 0, 8 people set 1 alarm, 7 people set 2, 11 set 3, 3 set 4 and one person sets 6! They range from 5 to 30 minutes apart from each other. There was one person that said they set the alarms 1 to 3 minutes apart. A couple people admitted that they set their alarm each night before bed because of anxiety. Me personally, my anxiety could never! haha Most of the people say that their alarms are set automatically. My brother responded with “I have a smart phone why would I do anything but automatic!?”

It was fun to hear the different ways that people get up. I mean we all do it. There are people that have to give themselves a pep talk with their alarm titles. Then there are people that just get up. Someone that just sets 1 alarm told me “sometimes I snooze it once but I really try to just get up!” to quote one of my friends “who are these robots!?!” haha after looking closer at the 1 alarm people I noticed is most of them are the moms or the ones that sort of get the house moving in the morning. Either kids or dogs get them up and moving!
When I asked my mom she said just 1! I was very impressed because my mom is not a fan of the morning! I was like wow just 1!?! She responded with “yeah! That’s what I have your dad for! He never lets me oversleep.” haha My dad is one of those that doesn’t need an alarm clock. If he tells himself he is going to wake up at 6:30 in the morning he wakes up about 6:25 with no alarm! So most mornings I don’t doubt that he is just laying there waiting for my moms alarm to go off.
This is one of my favorite Gute surveys that I have conducted. I mean we all get up it is kinda fun to see how that happens! Well I am going to go scarf down my lunch. I just made a pot of coffee let’s see if my headache goes away! Have a good rest of your day!
