The Chronicles Of Nay

Happy Monday! I hope that everyone is doing well! I have not done much of what I needed to do. I have some homework that I really should be working on but yesterday I took a nappy nap and then hung out with some friends and now I am writing this and thinking of trying a Thai place next door. I started watching Grimm on Prime. I think I need a break from shameless I had a very strange dream last night! haha

It has been a pretty good weekend! I did Hibachi, Breakfast and High tea! I spent lots of time with good people! I am reminded of how grateful I am for all of my friends. I got so many coffee mugs, some games, some stationary, a crocheted rose but most importantly I spent lots of time laughing with friends. This was a great birthday week!

Like I said I did High Tea. It was a new experience. Here is a quick video I made from the experience. I did a little research of what it was and where the term high tea came from. So afternoon tea is generally served on low, comfortable, parler chairs or in the garden. The high tea is served to the workers at the table where they are seated on high back dining chairs. Another reference said that it was served at a counter or a high table. High tea tends to have heartier food because of the time it is served. Tends to be like supper. It was a neat experience. I would do it again!

So one of my dayzero project goals is to take a picture for each of letter of the alphabet. I have not been working on this one for a while. I didn’t want to take just a picture so I am taking a picture of signs. I am still looking for signs that start with D, E, G, I, K, N, Q, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y. I am looking for signs that aren’t chains and maybe just some kinda cool looking signs, maybe some old signs. So if you have any ideas or suggestions of some signs I should check out I would appreciate it. I am going to charge my camera and try to carry it around more. My goal is to finish off the letter signs this week. Any help of some ideas of where to look would be great! One of the problems I have had recently is that i don’t tend to carry my camera around as much. I don’t like it sitting in the heat in my car but also with the mini cameras we have on our phones it makes it very convenient to just carry the phone.
