Happy Wednesday! I hope that everyone is having a good week. I am having a pretty good week. This class is going by so fast! I am learning a lot and I even have a few ideas for next year. This class is at 1 in the afternoon and I don’t know if that is better or worse than the 5 pm class I had last summer.
So first things first. The date from last weekend. I know that everyone is dying to know. It didn’t happen because the guy turned out to be a child! Ok, well not a child but he for sure wasn’t mature enough. So we were talking and trying to make plans. He asked me where I lived and I gave him a very large area of where I lived. He then said I just got off work, let’s meet at the park. Ok so first of all ew how creepy. I am not an outdoorsy kinda girly but also meeting a stranger in the park is how I end up dead in a bathtub missing my organs! I told him that we were both adults and there was no reason to meet at the park, 16 year olds meet at the park! He said “Well I have family in town so you can’t come over to my house.” I told him 1) again we are grown adults! 2) presumptuous that I would be ok with going to your house anyway! 3) Don’t even think of inviting yourself over to my house!” He then told me he would have to think of something for us to do. Then when he came up with something his solution was let’s just meet at Walmart in the parking lot. No sir! I will not be meeting you in a park or a parking lot. I told him I needed an adult! Am I wrong here? I mean there were so many places we could have gone. If it was a money thing he could have just beat me to say starbucks and ordered his drink so that When I got there I could have gone to get my own. I am not looking for a free meal, just not looking for a child!

So let me transition… Sunday I went to the Grand Prairie Horse races with some friends. We were celebrating my birthday and overall just a time to hang out. It was my friend Kathy and Katie and her son. Her son is a pretty cool kid. We got box seats up on the second floor. We had a good time. Before the last race he begged for 20 more bucks he said “it will be worth it I promise” he then very sneakily got Kathy to go down stairs with him so that he wouldn’t go alone. What a responsible little guy. He told Kathy he wanted to get mea. birthday gift so he picked a hat since I got a hat the week before at the baseball game. He came back with a peachy pink (is that color salmon?) hat that had the racetrack name on it. It was the most adorable thing ever! It is a pretty cool hat it has the ponytail hole in the back. It has become my new favorite hat! Thanx Creede!

I got a few responses about the music poll from from the last blog. If you have any suggestions I would love to have them! Click here. The most recent survey (which you can fill out here). If you know me you know that I am not big on bbq sauce. In a series of events I ended up with two very large bottles. Well I have had a bottle in the fridge for quite a while and the other is still in the pantry. Does BBQ sauce go bad? I will have to think of something to make with all this bbq sauce! haha
Well I am going to get back to reading for class. I hope that everyone has a good rest of your day! Be ready for a special Birthday blog tomorrow!
