Happy Saturday! I hope that everyone in Texas is thawing well. Gabbana and I enjoyed some Pixar movies during our time together! haha I go through phases where I watch old movies that I have already seen. I mean don’t we all? haha Well I started with the Toy Story and I started watching the Pixar movies in order. Were there other things I should have done? Like reading the 100s pages of stuff for one of my classes? Absolutely! but instead… I made it all the way through Brave!
We ended up being off all week. Is it sad… I am ready to go back to work! haha We all know how well I do being locked up all alone! I need people! During the ice storm I had 9 cups of coffee, 4 cups of hot tea, a gallon and a half of iced tea, 4 liters of flavored water! I mean I had regular water too but who counts that?! I have cooked more this week than I have in months! I made pizza, spaghetti, pigs in the blanket, mexiburgrs, and breakfast burritos! haha I was so excited to get out and about Thursday afternoon for a couple essentials but there weren’t a lot of people out and about. Yesterday on the other hand the whole world was out. I went to the grocery store and just kinda drove around. I was nice to see other humans! I assume most people went to work Friday.
So back to the reason for the blog, I don’t know how many of you know that I do lunch duty at school. During 6th grade lunch I stand in the cafeteria and I make sure that no one attacks each other or makes too big of a mess! Weather permitting we take them outside then I stand on the track and make sure that one one attacks each other! haha My favorite part of it is seeing what the kids bring for lunch. Maybe because I just ate at school but I am fascinated with what some of these kids bring. There are a couple young ladies that bring lunch every day and I like to check in with them and what they bring. The first one we will call Jade. Jade brings burritos, tortas, sandwiches, left over food from dinner, tacos and sometimes just eats school lunch. The other one we shall call Keily, brings a thermos almost every day. When I get to the cafeteria I check in with Jade everyday to see what she brings. She humors me and tells me what she has. Keily comes up to me everyday and asks me to open her Thermos. One of the days I didn’t do duty but I was in class she said “Ms I had to have the police officer open my thermos today!” She brings things like ramen, arroz con pollo, spaghetti, soup and “chicken tenders cut up” (but for the record they are not chicken nuggets, I asked!). She tells me everyday what is in her thermos as I try to open it. On Monday she said its pot stickers! I said oh yummy and once I loosened it she opened it all the way and she said “see! these are called pot stickers!” I think I was schooled by a 6th grader on what a pot sticker was! haha I looked at the SRO and asked him “did she just make sure I knew what a pot sticker was?” For the record I knew what they were before Keily showed me! haha
Here are a couple more online dating responses. I did have a guy that got past the tell me a joke part. We have been talking for a few days. I am a little concerned bout some of the “liberties” he took with his profile. Maybe I just misunderstood what he meant? We shall see the more we talk how things go. Is it bad that I don’t have high hopes. Maybe he will surprise me in the next week! Don’t worry I will keep y’all updated.

The good news about the ice storm from last week is that I am all planned for this coming week! haha I do have some homework to do thought since I did none over the ice lock down! I hope that everyone has a good rest of your weekend I really should get something done! haha
