Hello Hello Hello! Happy Sunday! I am a little sad that spring break is over, However I will say that it was a pretty good week! I checked some things off of my Day zero Project. I spent some quality time with people. I read. I napped! Overall it was a pretty good week.
So the question on everyone’s mind is the date I mentioned in the last blog. The date Monday went well, we hung out a total of 3 times over the week. He is a nice guy. We had coffee, went to the botanic gardens, played board games, and shared a few meals. He has been out of town this weekend and this coming week is filling up fast so we shall see what comes of this now that both of us are not on spring break any more. I am a firm believer in people making time to spend with the people that they want to spend time with. So we shall see what comes of this. Stay tuned for more!
So I know I have talked about the day zero project before. It is a site where you pick 101 things to do in 1001 days. Some of the things on my list have been easier to check off than others. One of the things that I thought would be a heck of a lot easier than it has been was to read 100 books. There are only 21 books on that list. I took a short sabbatical from reading during the panda-nemic! Usually I use reading to escape and even though we all had a lot to escape from there didn’t seem to be a reality. So I was having a hard time getting into a fictional world when I felt like I was living in one! Now that I am doing better mentally and life is headed to a sense of normality I have started reading again. I read Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince over the week. The books are always so much better than the movies! So apparently I haven’t read book 7 of the series. I thought I had but I don’t even know that I had finished book 6. There are for sure parts of book 6 that I do not remember! I finished it and was like Oh, yeah that is how it ends! Haha, I have a really bad habit of going to half price books and buying two or three books. I pick one and read it then when I am finished instead of reading the next one, I go back to half priced books! The last time I was there I got four books. One of them I am going to send to a friend because I loved it so much I want her to read it. Also, I don’t like to get rid of my books. I have lent a couple books and I haven’t gotten them back and it makes me sad! What do I need them for? I don’t know either but I like being able to look at a bookshelf and say “I read all of those books”. Sorry I got distracted, where I was going with this is that I am going to try to get through some of these books I bought and haven’t read before I go back to half priced books! However, one of the other things on the list is to get a book suggestion from 10 people and read them, I have 2 so… suggest away!
One of the things that was nice to check off of the day zero project was the movie one. It was Watch 26 movies I’ve never seen starting with each letter of the alphabet. I have been working on this one for a long time! Here are the movies I watched. V and X were the ones I was stuck on for the longest time! If I wasn’t gonig to watch x-men then it really limited me to more pornographic movies! You know those x’s! Haha

One of the things I didn’t check off but I made a pretty considerable dent in was to watch 25 documentaries. So I started with the Inventing Anna series. I am totally calling that a documentary. I mean it was based on a real situation! Here is the list of documentaries I am working on. I watched the last 5 this week! Bad Vegan seemed very similar to Tinder swindler. I mean the same but different! Haha the BIG takeaway from the worst roommate ever is don’t advertise or answer roommates need ads on Craigslist!

Overall a pretty good break! I did get 6 more of those “flex hours” done! I am so glad to have that taken care of! Did you notice there wasn’t anything about cleaning out the closet or getting all laundry caught up? I will regret that in the weeks to come but that will be future Naomi’s problem! Well, we can wear jeans and college shirts in honor of march madness so I am headed to go find some college shirts! Hope that everyone has a great Sunday afternoon! If it isn’t spring where you are here is a picture I took at the gardens!
