The Chronicles Of Nay

Welcome back… well not that you went anywhere. I have been gone… for a long time. But I think I am back. There has been a lot going on in my absence. Let’s see when it comes to online dating… I dated a guy for a month and he broke up with me the day before valentine’s day. I went on a date with a guy that thinks that all drugs should be legal, I met a guy that not only doesn’t like sarcasm… but it is one of his biggest pet peeves, a guy told me hours before we were supposed to meet that he was still living with his ex-girlfriend. They had only been apart 2 weeks and I have been asked to be part of a threesome… twice!  As far as work… we got a new principal, this group of kids doesn’t seem to care about anything, I was nominated and voted teacher of the year. As far as life… well I joined a pool league, I started bullet journaling. Let’s see that is about all that has been going on in my life.

So, like I said I dated a guy for about a month. It was nice while it lasted then he got all “omg I can’t be in a relationship. I am not ready to be in a serious relationship.” Blah blah blah he then tells me that he doesn’t want to not be with me. I told him he couldn’t have his cake and eat it too. We were either in a relationship or not. He told me I was being harsh! And all this happened on the day before Valentine’s day. Haha so that’s over.  There have been many other interesting encounters. So, there was a guy that I went out with that told me that he was quite a fan of the pot. He worked at a job he hated because he would have to stop doing pot long enough to be able to pass a pre-employment drug test. Then the more we hung out the more the he talked. He told me that he felt that all drugs should be legal. ALL DRUGS! Cocaine, heroin, Meth… He said that he felt that if everything were legal the FDA would be able to make sure that everything was pure. It was a very interesting topic of discussion for a first date. There was a guy that asked if I would like to go out with him and his girlfriend. Then there was a guy that said that he and his best friend were looking for a girl as beautiful as me. I was like “aww you think I’m beautiful…Thank you! But no thank you!”  There was the guy I was talking to that hated sarcasm. He had so many great qualities. We had so much in common… Things were going so well. We had plans to meet for coffee on Thursday. So, on Wednesday evening we were talking and the subject of Pet Peeves came up. He told me that his biggest pet peeve is sarcasm. He literally told me he can’t stand sarcasm. My online profile specifically says that I speak 4 languages: English, Spanish, movie quotes and sarcasm. If anyone has ever had a conversation with me… you know… our conversation was full of sarcasm! Haha so that was just not going to work! Then I was supposed to have coffee with this guy on Friday. (That seems to be my go to! Haha coffee!!) so we were talking and Friday afternoon. At one point, he said that he just felt that I needed to know that he is still living with his ex-girlfriend. I started asking more questions and he informed me that they broke up 2 weeks ago… 2 weeks… I turned and ran! Haha back to the drawing board.

The students this year just don’t seem to care. I have multiple kids in my class right now with grades in the 40’s. I have a kid that anytime he gets in trouble his response is “I am not taking my medication.” Then I have student that never wants to do anything. Like he literally sits in class and does nothing. We informed his mother that he is failing. Not only does she seem not to care she is now following him around from class to class. It has been 3 days. His behavior is not any different, anytime mom isn’t in the room he is actually worse! It is crazy! Mom has stated that she is going to start participating in class to make the time go faster. She told the math teacher that she is going to start taking notes. But really it’s not helping the student’s situation.

So, I started playing pool. I suck! Haha I never realized how much there is to pool. I just thought you go up there and smack everything as hard as you can. Apparently… its quite the opposite. You hardly ever smack it as hard as you can! There are more instances where you need to just tap it! There is so much to it. Hit it this way, hit it that way, don’t hit it here, aggghhhh. It’s just learning a new sport. I think I am getting better it just is taking a while! So, I started bullet journaling. It is basically lists. Do you know how I feel about lists!?! I love it! It is very helpful. I have a month view and a week view and day view. It is actually helping a lot. And I get to use my millions of different washi tape. And pens! I love pens! Haha well I am not quite finished with the yearbook so I should get back to that. Hope everyone has a great rest of the weekend!
